J.A. Gallang

J.A. Galang is an eleven year old lively, funny, and well-rounded boy who loves to read, draw, and imagine. He is currently in sixth grade and resides in Florida with his parents and younger sister.

J.A. has been fascinated by the field of science, specifically space, planets, and rockets. He wrote his first book on space and the planets at the age of five. In the summer of 2008, his ever-evolving curiosity of space discoveries and his zest for writing led to his latest odyssey: Rocket Trip.

12 year old author and illustrator of children's book Rocket Trip donated $400 of the proceeds to help children with cancer through the charity Barbara's Friends. He also started a Charity, Books for Hope where books can be purchased for donation to children with cancer or the library at the Children's Hospital Cancer Center.
